In New Jersey last week, a state-appointed school monitor has ordered the closing of the Barack Obama Elementary School. The school bell will toll for its final time at the end of the spring semester. Formerly known as the Bangs Avenue School, Myra Campbell, a town resident and Obama fan, convinced the school officials to rename the school shortly after the 2008 election.
The reasons cited for the closure: fiscal mismanagement, declining attendance and sub-par performance. Well, could there have been a more appropriate name for a school?
Wow-what's next-- will it be the Repo Men knocking on the door of the White House reclaiming the Nobel Peace Prize after President Obomber began hurling missiles over the skies of Tripoli?
